What RAM should I get?

Yeah maybe. But I still dont like the idea of paying extra £30 for something I wont use.

Also another reason I wanted to go with this ram is it should run cooler then those higher clocked ones. I am currently running my cousins OCZ memory till my new kit arrives. They are rated 4-4-4-15 800MHz at 2.2v and they made my system temp shoot up 4C compared to the same amount of Corsair memory I had which were rated and run at 4-4-4-12 800MHz at 2.1v.

I am sure my system temp will go down now, going from 4 sticks of ram to 2 and also a lower voltage. The ram should be here any time soon. I cant wait to get my system running stable at 3825MHz :)

LOL!!

Yeah sorry about that. But your fault for overclocking ram's you know that are already damaged! ;)

Saved me from sending back my mobo to asus. I really thought it was my mobo when all my sticks passed memtest.

Now I am happy running my system at 9x425 :)

CPU = 3825MHz
FSB = 1700MHz

Loving this ram ;)

wise words BUT I too have the P5k-e wifi premium and I'm running OCZ PC8500+ SLI Ready..just so people know that sometimes Asus isn't as picky as lead to believe ;)

Agreed.

I have 4Gb OCZ ReaperX HPC PC8000 running on an Asus Rampage Formula just fine.
