What ram should i use?

Hi All
AM looking for some guidance as am not clued up with ram and there are so many to chose from! so looking for some help please

I am building a pc for creators work mainly not too bothered about gaming so i have purchased the following but i have no idea what ram to get i am not bothered about overclocking but i may in the future rgb is preferred

ASUS ROG Strix X570-E Gaming ATX Motherboard
CPU: Ryzen 9500x
GPU: GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB OC Gaming V2 LHR Graphics Card

Any help would be great.

3600mhz is ideal for ryzen

CPU: Ryzen 9500x - you've got CPU from the future there

If it is 5900X and if you could sacrifice RGB I would go with Viper Steel 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-35200C19 4400MHz Dual Channel Kit as these are rumoured to be Samsung B-die and are supposed to achieve good timings at 3800 which is probably where Infinity Fabric will limit you.

Another question regarding the Ram, is it better to fill the 4 slots or just the 2?
i have ordered 2 x 16gb sticks would i be better using 4 x 16gb sticks?

If I remember it correctly it is ranks that matter. 16 GB will most probably be dual rank but you may want to check specs just in case.

sorry not sure what you mean dual rank does that mean i only need 2 16gb or if i purchase more i need to get another 2 x 16gb sticks?

I can not tell for sure just by the information you provide. You may want to check specs on manufacturer/seler's site or by using a program.
