what random dvd's have you bought?

Picked them up for a couple of euro as I had heard good things about them but they were awful.

I bought the seasons one, two and three of the X-Men animated series today. Morrisons are selling X-Men, Spiderman, Fantastic Four, and possibly some other Marvel cartoons on DVD, for £2 a pop. After ejaculating all of my bodily fluids, I proceeded to buy all eight X-Men discs. 
I don't buy random dvds, they're all carefully selected.

I'd heard almost nothing about them before watching and was given Night Watch which I really enjoyed, Day Watch seemed a bit rushed and incoherent in comparison but it wasn't too bad.

Damn you, I'm almost tempted to head down to my local one tomorrow and see if they're still on sale. I'll probably resist though as I've got more than enough DVDs to be going on with.
A couple of random disks I've bought which weren't too bad were Stickmen (about some New Zealand pool players, think of a low rent Kiwi Lock, Stock) and Rififi (a French heist film in black & white which is brilliant) although I've got to admit I did a little bit of research before buying that one in the end.
Come on, £2 per disc! That's a shade under 30p per episode, bargain.
It's unfortunate for me, as I'm the exact kind of person that supermarkets gear that kind of deal towards. I see it, and I have to buy it.
