What REALLY annoys you?

Wanna-be-alphas who make a thing about firm handshakes ..

I'm not a 'wanna-be-alpha', but I was always taught to present a firm handshake, especially when meeting someone for the first time.

This is one of a persons first impressions of you, and I believe it says a lot. I'm not talking squeeze the life out of someones hands, but a firm handshake with nothing limp!

That one's not always so simple, as, depending on what you're driving, it can be less than 60.

https://www.gov.uk/speed-limits

I don't disagree in principle though for standard vehicles, in the same way that for dual carriageways the speed limit is 70, and people still dawdle on them.

Sorry I did mean normal cars, I know lorrys have restrictions. I live next to the New Forest and trying to get from Christchurch to Southampton is about a 15mile single carriageway through the forest but tourists/old people usually do 40 all the way.

If we are only talking annoyance and not total blood-boiling rage then...

Tim Westwood (Radio DJ, not sure if he still exists, hopefully not), pretty much any pretentious tw*t trying be what he or she clearly isnt.

Parents that fail to keep their children in check in public (yes, im a parent).

Irrational behaviour.

Point scorers, including grammar Nazis.

I have a longer list for rage.

It's the same on my trip to and from work. Dithering idiots driving at 25-30 in a 40 or 40-50 in a national speed limit, so I understand where you're coming from.

It's one of the reasons I went back to riding a motorbike. That, and they're more fun than cars when the weather's nice :)

Get stuck behind Captain slow - wait to find suitable gap - smile as you overtake - tranquility resumes.

What doesn't.

General levels of incompetence in everything, like this morning, I go to the doctor, 8:30 appointment, 8:40 I get called in, I gotta get to work for goodness sake, I don't think it's ok to keep people waiting for 10 minutes! Robbing them of that time.

The way kids act now as well, it's a general trend among the young 20's, "Oh lets go and buy loads of **** we don't need, fancy clothes, cars on dreadful finance deals, then lets make every excuse why we can't move out" GET A ****ING GRIP.
Self entitled *******s who don't understand the difference between luxury and necessity expecting their parents to eventually pay their way in life, IT DOESN'T WORK LIKE THAT!

It probably won't surprise you I was at the doctors for an ECG and blood pressure check. I'M NOT STRESSED AT ALL DOCTOR!!!!

Title says it all really. What thing really annoys you in life? Personally I can't stand people misusing apostrophes. Drives me absolutely mad.
+
People misusing apostrophes. Two extremely simple rules. That's it. Just two. It's not complicated..

Noisy neighbour's.

My pet hate too  along with people who can't write their thread titles correctly using proper grammar and spelling.

People who listen to music on the bus/train on loudspeaker or volume right up.

Tourists.

People who don't let you off the train first and push past you.

Yes I live in London :p

People who park in the middle of a two car parking bay. PARK UP TO THE LINE YOU ********, parking space is sparse enough!

Sometimes there's a good reason... people with limited mobility etc. But yeah, I'm sure sometimes it's just someone being a ****.
