one of our workers put superglue instead of eye drops in their eyes :eek:

luckily the hospital managed to open their eyes slightly and gave them liquid antibiotics to put in their eyes every day

thats what i thought, surely if your putting something in your eyes you check what it is first.

i know my mum mixed up toilet cleaner with shampoo once but thats because she wasnt looking! and it didnt cause any damage her hair just smelt like pine

not sure how she is but apparently shes now also got the flu

its a resistor stuck to a pcb.

I once ate oven cleaner when I was little, thinking it was cream in a can.

Lots of burning, crying and screaming followed. Thank god I was only about 4, as their is absolutely no scarring or abnormaility's in my mouth/gums. Phew.

it is acetone based, but the superglue is still really hard and aint disolving.

just tested to see if its still potent, i.e set fire to it and it burns well

so i must need something stronger to remove it.

Get down to your local DIY and pick up some Cyanoacrylate Remover/Dissolver (although these are pretty much just acetone)

ahh, i put that in google and its straight acetone, this nail varnish remover must be watered down

My mum did that

Had bad hayfever and went to put some drops in and picked up the superglue by mistake. Luckily she realised straight away and poured loads of water into it..

Some girl at school was squirting superglue at people, some went in my eye. :eek:

Amazing how many people manage to get into accidents with it.
