What retro things have you done today?

hopefully my main PC's PSU can handle it...

edit: my project psu has 30a each for VGA 1 and 2 so use a 6pin from 1 and an 8pin from 2

only thing I have done is sort out of a load of retro gear I need to sell. Did put up a proportion as a bulk lot on MM but no interest so once my heart operation is out of the way I am going to sell it all separately. watch this space!

Kind of gutting to be doing it but need to get some space sorted as looks like I am going to be working from home for the foreseeable future and need to convert the man lab into more of a workstation.

@almoststew1990 Violet V looks awesome btw :)

What a beauty! Handcrafted from the 5500. The Voodoo5 5800 Special Edition. Has 128MB, with a switch for 64MB mode. Uses the same 3rd Rev 355-0026-320: VSA-100 chips as the Voodoo 5 6000; and improved heatsinks.

I'm currently in the process of designing, and making a prototype box for this lovely, so it can also have something to go with it.

dont know if its the same for this card, but i have a GTX260 (in a coffee lake system!!) i removed those vinyl stickers and it had all the original "printed" Nvidia branding underneath. needed lots of ispropyl but looks much better

Done some trades with a friend, and got a BBC Master (should never have sold my old one) and an Atari STE with 4mb, which I've just fitted a flash floppy. I don't know much about the ST in general. The Master has a hard drive board and multirom, and I've fitted a pi zero second processor in the internal second processor slot.

Oh i have a XP Box too, but i always have a Win98/DOS machine on the go. I have the Via C3 in the desktop case which does all my dos games and lower end Win98 stuff. The box above can rip through the higher end Win98 stuff.

This is the XP box. Used mainly for Outrun 2006, NFS Underground and Test Drive Unlimited.

Hahah omg i did a double look on those pics thinking that case looks very familiar.

Black wii from CEX arrived today. Haven't tested it yet. It's mostly for my 4 year old daughter. Struggling to find enough games she really enjoys and understands on switch (we play a lot of Mario Party together though) but there's plenty on wii.

Paid for an imported Star Wars Arcade 1up machine (my favourite arcade game ever, well that and Battlezone), hopefully should arrive in a couple of weeks. They're almost impossible to get hold of in the UK. A bit like the 3080, which I'd originally earmarked the money for!

Spent a bit of time on my 386 board tonight. Managed to go from -- post code to 00.

Am I correct in assuming 00 indicates a dead bios?

Found these today, I remember something at the back of my mind that Majora's Mask was about somewhere but having Ocarina of Time stored with it was a nice surprise :D

Got Majora's near the end of the N64 lifetime, I had to order it by mail :eek: The internet has made things a lot easier. Also just got my Rad2x cable, so some nice timing!
