What router to use with Xbox 360?

I need to buy a new wireless router to use with my Xbox 360. My old one doesn't seem to be compatible and it is only a 802.11b spec as well so I think I will replace it.

I am using the official Xbox 360 wireless bridge so I just need a recommendation from the OcUK faithful as to a router that is known to work well.

Netgear dg834g is very good, or the 108mpbs version if you think you need it.

This is nit picking though as I'm 99.99% certain other routers will work also.

WRT54G/GL (not GS) everytime. It's simply the best router for the money once you install the open source firmware.

Ah, so it was somebody from here. Sorry, I didn't know who you were. I think it's because I'm only familiar with peoples OcUK names and not their Xbox gamertags. I have added you too now

i couldnt get my draytek vigor 2600vg to allow my 360 to see my computer.
(dunno why, but if anyone has , please let me know your settings)

..but the zoom x6 i have as a spare works a treat.

Anything Linksys, I have a WRT54GR and it works fine with my 360 and Wii. Better than the rubbish Belkin and Netgear stuff I have had!

The G and GL are much more powerful because of larger memory for firmware enabling more features when using open source firmware.

Im using a Netgear DG834N - works fine with no problems for both the 360 and the Wii through wireless.

DG835N (must be the 'N') here too... this has the new broadcomm Viper Chipset with ADSL2+, and plenty of options.. never misses a beat even with some serious downloading, works well with PC/360/PS3 and Wii..

It won this months PC Shopper for wireless throughput and stability as well..
