I have to use a special shampoo (for medical reasons, on prescription) that contains coal tar. It stinks. Literally.

John Frieda Sheer Blonde Go Blonder, it doesn't really make my hair significantly lighter but it does bring out the natural highlights. Also my scalp is really sensitive and it doesn't irritate it.
