So in short, lots of bits are missing then.

OK, thanks.

Who's the best to contact OCUK or HIS?

Ta very much

I'll tell you exactly what's in mine, arrived today from OCUK:

1 Card - obviously!
Case sticker
1 DVI-VGA dongle
1 Cable - Goes into a keyboard type connector with blue, red + green RGA
1 instruction manual
1 CD
1 "Bonus" DVD

somehow I think that's all you're supposed to get. ?

Please post what OCUK say on here if you pursue it :)

I received exactly what 'beast' did. I thought that this was suspect, as the box clearly has 'room' for more accessories, and the picture in the thread that 'skeeter' links to shows other things - more CDs, a crossfire bridge etc. I guess the batch that OCUK received has less.

Thanks Wayne. Although the blanking plate is now a one-piece design, incorporated with the Connections etc.

I think HIS have cut down what they're sending to keep costs down/make sure they don't run out  It doesn't overly bother me as To be honest, all I've ever used is the DVI-VGA dongle and the drivers.

However, I'm sure I read that EVERY X1950 pro is shipped with a x-fire connector. In any case I shall ring OCUK tommorow and see what is said.

Its best to chase up whats missing as you have payed for it. Also when the time to sell the card its best to have all the pieces together.

You might find Gibbo's post in this thread useful, beast. (post 24)

Lol I doubt thats the reason :D btw was your HIS package sealed with plastic?

No only some of them have it, the Power-colour doesn't nor does the Asus . . .

Yeah it was sealed mate, that's the way it has came from HIS. The mofo's are cutting costs by the looks of it  The blanking plate is just one piece of metal, right down to the second plate with the connections on it. Must have changed the design, for the better I reckon. But where's my X-fire connector  I never will be doing crossfire, but that's not the point :p

I have just ordered one, and I bought it on the basis of its contents.
(1) and (7) are items I need, so I will be very interested in the response you get for this.

Also it costs money to buy new crossfire cables, so it is important to have it included for when the card is sold.

I've emailed Gibbo and he's sending me out the missing x-fire cable and dongle  I suggest you do the same and see what he says, but look and see what you get first. :)
