what should i do

yes i'm still debating what to do about getting new hdd

should i get like a single 500gig:

or get like a 80gig (for my os and programs) and a 400 (for my documents etc):

what do you all think?
it's just even with my 300gig hdds with everything all on the one drive i find i get a lot of slow down after a while....i assume a 500gig could only be worse?

I would buy two sperate drives. thats what i've got running a 300 gb with music, videos and hardcore midget p0rn.
then a 100 gb split for linux and windows, that way if the OS dies then i can stick it in a new machine.

yea that's what i was thinking but is the likes of that 80gig hdd slower? it only has like 8mb cache or would i not notice the difference?
