What should I keep?

I have a slightly older 4GB of Geil RAM and when I thought that perhaps my motherboard had issues with it I went out and purchased 4GB of OCZ RAM.

It appears that my system is happy to accept either modules. Which should I keep (I only want to keep one set).

The OCZ has this info :

- 800MHz DDR2
- CL 4-4-4-15 (CAS-TRCD-TRP-TRAS)
- Platinum Mirrored XTC* Heatspreader
- OCZ Lifetime Warranty
- 1.9-2.0 Volts
- 240 Pin DIMM
- OCZ Enhanced Latency Technology
- 2.2V EVP**

The Geil has this info :

- PC6400 800MHz CAS 4-4-4-12
- 64x8 DDR2 BGA Chips
- 240pin, Non-ECC, Un-buffered DDR2 SDRAM DIMM
- Aluminum Heat-spreader
- 6 Layers Ultra Low Noises Shielded PCB
- Lifetime Warranty
- 1.9V-2.3V Power Supply

Mmm...neither appears to be faulty RAM or anything. The geil is the stuff I have in at the moment. Are you guys just saying OCZ from past experience? I was thinking maybe so (good reason don't get me wrong)? :)

Doesn't seem to be a lot of difference, all I can see is that the GiEL has slightly better timings, other than that I don't think it matters. For the record I have used both brands and both have been fine.

The Geil has the slightly better timings and is rated to a higher voltage, although in practice there is probably nothing to choose between them.
