What should i name my computer?

I seem to call my servers after animals:

\\puppy
\\ostrich
\\kitten (retired)
\\mullet (retired)
\\beaver (semi retired)

PCs are normally just called Amoeba-PC1, Amoeba-PC2 etc.
 
Major Star Trek ships here I'm afraid :p
Desktop- Enterprise
Laptop- Voyager
HTPC- Stargazer
PS3- Defiant
Xbox- Righteous (Cookie to anyone who knows the correct source!)
Server- UNIMATRIX-001
Routers- UNIMATRIX-001-01 & UNIMATRIX-001-02

Built a machine for a mate that doesn't do "tech" and called it "PORNOGRAPH". After all, it's a device mainly used for viewing pornography, so it was only right that it should be named appropriately.

My main PC is always called Eddie. Has been ever since I first named a PC.


Others in the network are named after whatever other literary/film-based computers I first think of. At one time of another have had HAL, SAL, Multivac, Deep Thought, Wopr and Proteus. Plus some others I've probably forgotten.
 
^^Have you still got any of your previous Eddies? Because I can imagine that would become a party if they were all on the same network...

True.

One is now part of my dad's network (and still called Eddie), another was sold off to a mate (and probably still called Eddie), but the others were sold piecemeal in various upgrades. I feel a bit cruel about that now...

Still, I like to think the two surviving Eddie's are bringing chirpy happiness and song to their respective homes...
