Ello audio guys,

I've had my Gigaworks S750 speakers for a few years now. I was wondering about replacing them but dunno what with LOL. Is there a better PC speaker set out, or should I go hi-fi speakers and an amp? Or, just keep the Gigaworks? Recommendations greatly received:)

Anyone got any suggestions? I dont mind spending a bit of money for really good quality sound and load LOL, but not sure what I should be looking for or if I should even bother if I wont notice a big difference from my Gigaworks.

Go for hi-fi speakers and an amp, or some bi-amped active speakers if you've got some extra cash to blow, these usually sound better than basic hifi speakers and amp especially if you're sat pretty close to the speakers (nearfield). :)

What's your reason for looking to replace it? the Gigaworks S750 is a very decent speaker and can deliver a massive 700watts RMS of total power,
the satellites are THX certified too.The only drawback of the massive s750 is it does not have an optical and coax input so your stuck with analog maybe invest in a superior sound card.

I'm using the on-board realtek HD Audio atm. What soundcard would you recommend for quality?
