Looks like an MR16 to me that is used in ceiling downlights. 59p in Home Bargains.
Is there any way is can find out whether it's MR11 or MR16?

A ruler is made for measuring, do you have one?
It will either 50mm or 35mm diameter.
Im not meaning to hi-jack this guys thread but are there any advantage of using a MR11/16 over a GU10 bulb? is it just the lower voltage is safer for bathrooms?? I only ask because In my kitchen I have 4x GU10 and 2x MR16
You'll need transformers for the MR16's obviously as they are only 12v.
Could also be a MR11 lamp, job to tell from pic, but both are 12v.
Depends on the diameter MR16 is 50mm of diameter and the MR11 is 35mm.
