ok lets say that the human pop is about to end (for what ever reason u want) all will die but for a small amount of people who will live to rebuild the human race. question is how many people and what ratio of men to women do we need for the human race to carry on ,given that

1) they all young (min 18 max 25) fit and healthy people
2) the women can only have a child once every 2 years
3) they have access to plenty of food and shelter
4) only 7 out of 10 children make it to 18 (breeding age)
5) adults don't live long after 60

I think it's been theoriesed that for repopulation to begin, you need a ratio of 1 man to 7 women, but obviously the more the better
