Teamgroup 8pack ram is waisted in a server, just order some cheaper ram for your server.

I am wondering what the recommended size

I would not buy 8GB anymore, too easy to get high density sticks, which are significantly slower.

16GB is usually single rank now, which is slower than dual rank, but easier on the memory controller.

If you buy 32GB sticks, you have the option of using 4 to reach max capacity (though the memory controller may struggle to handle them at high speeds), but I doubt a B450 board will need upgrading beyond 64GB before the CPU is obsolete.
