what sli mobo

whats the best sli motherboard currently out there for an intel 1333fsb and 45nm cpu's?
whats in the pipeline thats worth waiting for?

Well 780i will be out shortly, but it won't take the quad-core Penryns (only the dual-cores).

790i is due out in Feb/March and should take the quad-core Penryns.

790 is dd3 only though isnt it?i want to use ddr2 as atm dd3 isnt really needed

Possibly. tho it's still all rumours about 790i.

But 780i was officially released earlier today and nVidia are now claiming that the quad-core Penryns (Yorkfield) will indeed work in 780i.

But we'll have to wait to see just how well they work.
