I followed the beginners guide on here:

http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17612922

And overclocked my X2 3800+ to 2.4ghz. I dropped my memory down from 400mhz to 333mhz as suggested to keep at stock speeds. I assume as DDR that clock speed is 166mhz instead of 200mhz.

My question is should I be able to run it at 400mhz ok or will the fact the fsb is running at 240mhz mean I could damage the RAM (see sig for setup)?

Apologies if this is asking the obvious but would rather ask first than kill my RAM :)

Cheers,
Simon

You can try running your ram at 240mhz, but it might not like it, you might have to loosen the timings, you might have to up the voltage to it, but it might jsut be fine...
