what speed with these stats

Hi,

What kind of speeds should I be getting with this sort of numbers?

Yes, its (up to) 8MB max.

Are you getting 785 with similar stats?

My att is 37db, SNR margin is around 7-9db and I connect at around 6mb/s

With that sync rate, you should expect to be on the 7Mbps IP profile - so about 850kB/s.

Your SNR margin et al are irrelevant - it's only what your modem's connected at that's important.

The profile changed to 7000 over night, so Tolien was bang on.

Just out of interest, if my exchange had ADSL2+ LLU (Be, etc), what kind of speed would I get with those stats? Is it possible to tell?

You'd get more than you get just now - probably a good bit more - with ADSL2+. Whether it's LLU or not doesn't matter.
There's an estimator in the sticky (which reckons ~14000kbps), but it's purely an estimate.
