Been looking at getting a 120 GB SSD to install a fresh windows 7 on and put a couple of games on

So confused as what to get, i only have sata 2 ports on my motherboard so will need a sata 2 SSD

what ones are the best out there? was originally going to get a OCZ one but heard they have a lot of problems with breaking etc so that put me off

Any help would be great as i'm new to all this pc build stuff

Cheers

I have an OCZ one, not had any problems with it what-so-ever.

Just think, you'll hear all the bad things on the forums but rarely the good things!

Dont worry about the drives being SATA 3, They are backwards compatible with SATA 2 ports, but obviously will only run at SATA 2 speeds.

that's very true actually

they seem to have the best speeds and for the price as well £118 for a 120gb one

ahh didn't know about the compatability between sata 2 and 3, cheers for that

what of the OCZ ones are better? Or ideally what would be the best one for say £120

would go to £150 very max if it was a lot better than a £120 one

Quite like the look of this one http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-015-AD&groupid=701&catid=2104&subcat=

I think I'm gonna get a crucial m4 as stated

But get a 60 gig for the os then at some point maybe another for games

Cherrs for the help guys
