Seems to use predecessor of M.2 mSATA:

mSATA drives are getting harder to find now, were only ever available in a max of i think 1TB (samsungs were the best ones that i know of, upto Evo 860) they are also not so cheap now, I fitted a 512GB one to my dads machine i built a few years ago, and it's running just fine but, i do find myself thinking i should have fitted the 1TB model at the time as now it's hardly worth changing.

I found a second hand 256Gb which is twice the size of the previous drive. I bought and USB adaptor and made a clone with extra space added with Macrium Reflect. Thanks for your help.
