What temp is your gpu at the moment?

65c idle, stock cooling, 8800gts 512mb.

having no case cooling might explain why it's a little high. :p

still, i never hear the fan spin up when i play games so who gives a ****. :D

IceQ3 3870 . I think it's time for a resit, perhaps the paste has gone wonky and dry.
 
6800GT = 62C


How it stays so cool for a 4 year old PC with 1 rear 120mm fan and 1 side 70mm fan is beyond me.
 
xfx 4870 xxx 56°C, 40% (stock) fan speed, folding (yes ati are rubbish folders, am warming it up for a bit of fallout3)

Boy do I want a Sapphire 4890 Atomic
 
80 degrees - Leadtek 8800GT w/ stock cooling

Running the hardware accelerated desktop stuff in Ubuntu, but otherwise no load :p

Maybe a tad high :o
