What the best setting for taking fireworks on Lumix TZ8?

Hello All,
I recently brought Lumix TZ8 for my GF,its a cracking camera.



Me and my Gf are going to Australia for three week,Queensland and then Sydney at the New year fireworks, so basely same question as above What the best setting for taking fireworks on TZ8? I no there fireworks mode but alway come to dark.



Any Advice would be great.

Manual mode, on a tripod with a short timer to avoid any shake. ISO set to the lowest possible (80 on the TZ8 iirc), f/6.3 and exposure times anywhere from 0.5s to 10s depending on what works best for the display.
