its used for making a library of your mp3's and to connect an ipod

sorted folders is a better approach

I just like the way iTunes works. Granted it doesn't work with a lot of formats and it's a resource hog but it has a great interface. My music is quickly and easily organized in folders and I can get high quality album art for it all to show off in coverflow

Make up your mind. People were explaining the other options of sharing files , not "bigging" up windows.

same here, i hate itunes, i only have it on my really old laptop(that i barely use) for when i've got no other options left but to use it.

My mind is made up, the why was merely asking the people who don't approve of it to suggest exactly that, why they don't like it.
