What thermal paste?

AS seemed to be the popular choice last time I used it, but what is the product of choice these days?

The Zalman Thermal Grease looked promising and cheap...

In terms of overclocked performance, the Arctic MX-3 performs slightly better than the MX-4 variant of the thermal paste. A review of the Arctic MX-4 can be found here, which puts it up against a couple of other thermal paste products, including Arctic MX-3.

I went for the Zalman stuff in the end, mainly because it was on offer and the fact it appears that it does not require as much care as normal TP.

I'll be sure to report back with temperature differences.

I go for MX-4 these days, after years of AS-5.

A mate reckons he gets good temps with the Zalman stuff, comparable to AS5. Safe Choice.

mx-3 is good but a pain to spread it lol , mx-4 is better on my toast
