Hi guys i ordered the XFX ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 today friday at 3.30 pm and paid for sat delivery but its still showing card at the warehouse.Did i leave it too late to order ?
 
Hi , I Orderd a XFX ATI Radeon HD 4870 XXX 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
at Order Date: 9 Jul, 09, 3:30 pm Thursday . I picked Next day Del 10th Friday ,But They Only Picked the Card up this Morning 10th So looks like i have to wait tell monday, there goes 9 pound for next day...
funny thing is i orderd 3:30pm same as u ..

Hope They Del it Tomoz Sat Since it should been here this morning .

next week i'm going to Oarder Another For Crossfire.

Says Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm so my 3.30 order should have been on the van.I will have to stay in alday tomorrow now waiting to see if its going to turn up.
 
+ you know by looking on the Little Callender when placing the order What Days Are ok For Del ...so in my Case they Made AMess up ..i should have Phoned For Some Cash Back ,what makes it worse is it looks like i got to Wait tell monday.

if u not got the Email saying

Your Order As Now Been Shipped.

then u Have to Wait Tell Monday for it, looks like they may pick it up from OC tomoz if they collect Sats.
I Went with DPD Next Day Parcel.

I paid for sat delivery so will not be best pleased if it doesn't arrive on sat.I will phone in the morning to see whats happening and will cancel the order if they screwed up.
 
Just got off the phone with ocuk and it seems that when i ordered they had just one card in stock and someone else must have ordered the same card at the same time and i missed out.Im having the gainward card as alternative which is more money than the original card i wanted and will now have to wait until tues.Just checked the ocuk site and they now have 1 xfx card in stock so looks like i got the wrong end of the sick lol.

Yes when i ordered they only had one card and someone else pressed buy same time as me and i lost out.When i phoned this morning they said they had 5 pre ordered.Ocuk must have got a delivery this morning after i changed my order to the gainward lol.There are worse things in life that can happen no point complaining it wont change anything.
 
Its now 20.25 monday night and all i get with the online tracking is Your search did not find any matching tracking. Please refine your search criteria.If i dont get a card on tues im not going to be best chuffed.
 
I think it's after 20.30 that the tracking details come up.

Usualy they don't give the tracking detail untill it's left the warehouse.
 
I used to run sli 8800 gtx cards but i killed my asus striker mobo with a bios flash.I changed mobo to a p35 so no sli and gave my brother one of the 8800s then when that died in his pc i gave him the other and got myself a gtx 260.Wanted a 295 tbh but the ati 4870 x2 is better vfm and i will be changing again when dx11 cards show so i didn't want to spend too much.Enjoy your new cards tomorrow m8.
