hi all i know its been said a thousand times but im after a new lcd im using a hanson 710p 17" crt have done for years.

what im stuck on is do i get the Acer AL1916WS 19" Widescreen LCD Monitor - Black/Silver (MO-012-AC) or the OcUK Value Hanns-G HW191D 19" Widescreen LCD Monitor - Silver (MO-017-OK)?.the hanns is swaying me abit as it has dvi but then its an unknown brand well to me any way.

i want to play games i am fussy about ghoasting but not worried to much on viewing angle etc.

i can afford both so what do i get?.

help me spen me money please hahahahaha. :p
 
hahaha ive read all the reviews and yours was very helpfull but no one has done one on the hanns with in game oics.im getting a new lcd for when gtr 2 is out man i love them sims.

any more comments peeps?.

Seen them & if was camera then entire image should be like that :eek:

Currently using a 19" CRT & been looking at this TFT as an 'upgrade'. Seems I'll have to do some more research :rolleyes:
 
The acer is an awesome monitor, from what a large amount of people have said.

Another popular monitor at the moment is the OCUK Hanns monitor. I really dont think that you will regret either of those choices!
 
get the acer... its the best widescreen tft around atm for the money... superb piece of kit worth every penny.

plays games fine. i think the difference between a dvi connection and a vga one is not even noticable on most screens/applications/games.

are you sure?

im wanting to get a acer screen and pictures someones taken of the screen im wanting has the lines on just same as that, and im not sure if its his camera or the screen or just how the camera takes the picture of the screen, as shown from when u take pictures or record a video of a CRT, the view of the screen can go all screwed up. (only ever done that with a CRT never a LCD.)

I couldnt agree more, i had a 15"TFT until i got this one, love it. :D

your sig was 20.7k in size unfortunately. Also, our nice yellow sig is allowed thanks to moderators discretion :p
