What to do in a Paris style terrorist attack - PIA

Does anyone absolutely ****ing hate this constant threat of terrorism bought upon us by the Governments? Every ****ing time I see more than one fire engine blaring down my road I worry that some psycho has finally decided to take it out on Westfields or something. And I'm the type of guy who worries about the smallest things being in order so it's seriously messing with my head. :(

You could blame the actual terrorists rather than the government for killing people you know

??? When did i blame government for killing people? I blamed government for pushing the constant threat of terrorism (Constant fear is a necessity for keeping population control.)

Also give me an example of one government which hasn't killed anyone. (not that that was what I was saying but you seem to not have a clue)

The only exception might be possibly if they're reloading, despite what cod would make you think reloading doesnt take 3 seconds, so you might have an opportunity to rush them if you're already quite close, but again not something to do unarmed but maybe something to do if the police are at the door and you know armed backup is seconds away.

Rush them and do what? Get blown to bits by their bomb vents? Surely you'd be better attempting some sort of WiFi/Radio wave hack and remotely setting off the vest from a safe distance?

True, but a shotgun and basic police training is still a lot better prep than any of the general public will have to hand in a scenario like this.

Most of these guys had explosives back packs and probably also knives/handguns, I wouldn't rush someone unless it was certain death if I didn't

I think he was referring to when you said "this constant threat of terrorism bought upon us by the Governments" - i.e. don't blame the Goverment for mentioning it, blame the terriorists for carrying out the acts which result in all the 'publicity'.

Fair point, although not all of them had bomb vests afaik? Plus if they're reloading then they'll already have both hands full.

Pretty sure wifi/remote wave hack would take more time, effort and equipment than available to anyone in these situations, thats assuming it was even a remote detonate bomb anyway, that you knew exactly how it was built to activate. (could just be simple wired push button which is what i'd expect for a bomb on someone willing to detonate)

+1

I like to think (and do believe) I could pull the trigger against one of them, though the reality may be very different. Last thing you'd want would be for it to jam. :D :(

I think that's what happened during the French (bakery?) attack. Someone grabbed one of the killers guns, but it jammed, and he got shot. :(

I'm not Arnie or anything but I *hope* if I was ever put in that situation I am something of a stuff it and take a chance guy. The way I see it I'm dead anyway - or I can fight for it and maybe live or die trying.

I agree, no point in sitting there and letting your fate be decided for you. Better to make a stand if possible and be heroic like those people form Flight 93 which crashed in a field rather than the white house.

Learn to bunnyhop. This will make you an irritatingly difficult target to hit with the added bonus of making the terrorist so mad that he slams his gun on the floor and rage quits at which point you can grab that weapon, nail him with it and then tea bag him for the cameras "lolol noob".

Tony Stark could do it with a Nokia 3210?

Or you could run at them and jump right as they detonate, catapulting yourself to safety in Quake inspired glory.

Kids, don't do drugs.

On the contrary. If everyone did drugs, weed at least, there'd be absolutely no conflict in the world.

Why do you think the cinema's peace promoting video was replaced by adverts for a substance which causes more conflict, ignorance, dumbness, etc?

Why do you think Michael Jackson was involuntarily slaughtered on the eve of his performances? Was it because his performances would light too much peace in the darkness of all the evil **** artists spew today?
