What to do to the scammer?

Send her an email saying not to worry about any cash payments and that she can earn her keep by cooking and cleaning. Would be funny to see what the reply is like!

Are you kidding? Someone she worked for in Scotland is going to send me a cheque for £6,000. She wants me to keep 2 months rent + a deposit and £1000 then send the rest via wire transfer to Spain so she can fly over?

It's just a more sophisticated Nigerian Scam "I buy your item for £2000 more than price, you take money then send me £500 back!!!!1113"

Yes but if she did actually send the money to you then she obviously isn't a scam

Just like in the nigerian scams where they send a cheque and it appears to clear then the bank gets in touch to say the cheque is from a duff account and the money goes.

Tell her she can stay for free if she'll cook your socks twice a day. With her english, you should get a good run out of it at least ;)

cant belive some people are entertaining the idea of this, you crack on son and get yourself royaly ripped off. If it was true cash the cheque, keep all the 6 big ones and then tell her to Jog on back to russia :D
