I was given a bottle of JD by a friend for my birthday, the only problem is I think it is the vilest substance known to man.

What can I use it for? Any drinks I can put it into (JD+Coke is foul), sauces I can make with it (I like the JD sauce at TGI's)?

Otherwise I'll put it in a cupboard and give it for someone elses birthday.

Coke

Was on that last night, had 5 of them along with a few lagers

Got to about 1am and i just slept where i fell

Buy a bottle of Stoli, mix a double Stoli with a single Jack. Pure heaven, if you're still not liking it then add some blackcurrant to it.

I'm afraid it has already been opened so sending it off to people wouldn't be the best plan.

I like the idea of cooking something in it though, perhaps bbq some chicken or something.

TGI's Jack Daniel's Sauce

1⁄3 cup diced red onion
1/2 tsp finely diced garlic
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
1/4 cup soy sauce
1⁄3 white grape juice
1/2 cup Jack Daniel’s
1/2 tsp Tabasco sauce

1 cup = 1/2 pint

Place ingredients in sauce pan in order listed. Mix and stir after each ingredient. Place on medium heat and stir until mixture reaches boiling stage. Turn temperature down to low until mixture is on a slow simmer. Cook sauce for 35 - 45 minutes and remove from heat. Mixture will have reduced in volume by about a 1/4 to 1⁄3.
