Club i worked at served it in a cocktail with a juice called "sweet and sour" was really tasty, considering i hate the stuff normally

edit: the cocktail with JD and sweet and sour was called a lynchburg lemonade

I used to drink half a bottle with my ex...nearly current gf...years ago but these days i cant touch it.

I bought a round and couldnt find my mate who wanted his jd and coke but i had pulled so downed what i could(half of it) and chucked it in a bin. Best place for it.

Add some Amaretto and Coke.

It really dulls the impact of the JD (which i agree is foul on its own or with Coke) to a woody taste in the background. Obviously it helps it you like Amaretto and Coke in the first place. Many think it's too sweet.

a friend at work recommended JD + Port.... lethal I'm sure but surprisingly drinkable

use it as a marinade base, for a steak or bacon/chicken meal

its really lush when mixed in with food, even my gf likes it in food
