right im 21 and still living at home, now my mum has this horrible habbit of opening my post, what can i do to make her stop?? its seriously becoming a pain. She mainly opens my bank letters, i had to stop paper statements otherwise she will just go through them.

Its getting to the point of where i want to move out but i cannot afford it at this current time..

any suggestions!?!

Tell her its against the law to open post that isnt addressed to you.

Im sure if you just said politely you dont like it, it wont be a problem
 
Let her do it for you - who likes dealing with the mail? Free personal assistant!
Unless you have something weird to hide ;)
 
Push her down the stairs then run down, get to about 3rd/4th one from the bottom shout "THIS IS FOR OPENING MY LETTERS" then give her a peoples elbow.

If she doesn't get the message after that then you'll have to move out really.
 
Along with all the above ideas, which are all completely valid, the best thing to do would be to sit her down and explain that you feel it intrudes too much into your privacy, and that you would prefer it if she didn't read your post.

Seriously though. If you're that worried, you can either camp out by the front door at post time, or move out.

I assume you've already tried talking to her about this?
