What to do?

Don't want to go to sleep for 7 hours, my exam is at half 9!! :D

Might as well try and get back to sleep, lets hope my house mates don't make too much noise when they get in from work in a bit.

Right I've got an exam tomorrow...Sports and Exercise Medicine (it's a new module so no past papers) and basically the exam is 100% of the module and we have got a seen question which is worth 50% of the whole paper, has to be in essay form with references etc and we have been told we should spend around an hour writing it. It's not open book, so can't take any material in or anything like that.

Now then the work I've done so far I feel is pretty good and I'm quite confident I can do well, but I've just been looking for some other research for the seen question and I've found two papers which are superb. It's a review study so there is lots of info (about 20 pages each) and references (204, in Part 1 alone). We've been told that 25 marks will be attainable from "the ability to cite the relevant literature where appropriate." I'm guessing the question will be 60 marks in total, so getting references for info is key for this!! :(

The question is, seen as it's 11PM at the moment and my exam is in the morning, should I take the chance of staying up late / all night condensing and revising the info and references from these papers to give me some kind of super answer? Is it worth it or should I just be content with what I have in my head at the moment and go to sleep?

Your actually supposed to memorise the references ? I hope you dont have to harvard reference...good luck remembering all those ?

I don't think we have to Harvard reference, just remember people's names and cite them for the info we give.

Sleep doesn't look like it will happen :( Good job I don't feel tired.

Annoying isn't it. My girlfriend finished last Wednesday and has spent the whole time sunbathing and doing nothing, while I've been cooped up in my room reading. :(

Though I've come up with a genius method of cheating. I call it 'Braille leg'.

Pretty self explanatory, learn Braille, tape some kind of material with Braille notes / answers onto your thighs so you can feel it through your trousers. No one would have any idea at all, because you would just have your hand on your leg. Might be able to even do it with normal letters if you were able to identify them easily on touch.

For the record, I have not spent the past 4 hours making this a reality!

Ah well good luck now. I'd read the 11 as in the exam's at 11am not that it was 11pm when you wrote the message (unless you edited it :p).

If you've any left then make sure next time your housemates are aware you have an exam. I used to leave notices up by the door to catch when they went out.

Well that went pretty well I think. :) Wrote nearly 6 pages for the essay question.

Time to relax for a bit before more revision for tomorrows exam. :( But then I'm free, for a few months. :D

Early night again!!

Randomly fell asleep for an hour before, no idea how it happened! Revision must have been boring me that much. :D

Can't wait until it's over, my summer can actually begin.
