should i get another 7900gt for about £40, or should i sell mine and put in a lil extra cash for something else? what should i get?

thanks

I wouldn't go for a second 7-series card. I'd save towards a good mid-high end card (a 3850 might be a good bet, or an 8800GTS if you can spend a little more), and sell the card you have now.

You'll get better performance, better compatibility, and a better featureset.

AIDS?

Do you need another card? Is it under-performing in games you play?

I'd say a single card always > than SLi / Xfire

I've had a 7950gx2 (pretty much 7900gt's in SLI anyway) and the 3850pro 256mb. The ATi is easily as fast if not faster. It uses much less power, overclocks excellently on the stock cooler and runs very quietly.

Can't lose TBH.

I would recommend getting the 512mb variety though as some modern games demand more than the cheaper versions 256mb. :)

too much lol, i might stick with 7900 until next gen of cards

Not so much more expensive.

Either pay out £40 for another 7900, or pay out £60 for the 3850 (£100 out, and £40 back when you sell your card)

But anyway, having used SLI'd 7800GTXs (very similar spec card to yours) I'd recommend waiting for a new gen rather than getting another 7900.
