ok, after my thread earlier about upgrading my htpc to a llano system, I think I have come to the conclusion all I need is a cheap graphics card.
now I have £150 I can spend (unfortunately im store restricted as I have finally been given credit for my faulty GTX460), so I kinda need to buy something.
these are my current systems :

Gaming PC :
i5 2500k
Z68-EXTREME4
8GB Team Elite RAM
GTX560 2GB
Thermalright Silver Arrow
Coolmaster HAF 912 Plus
LG BH10LS38 BD-RE
2x 1TB WD Black
42" TV

HTPC :
Pentium G620
H61M-US3
4GB Zepplin RAM
LG BH10LS38
60GB SSD
OcUK Opera Media Case
42" TV

Media Server/Internet PC :
Celeron E3400
Gigabyte G41MT-S2PT
4GB RAM
1x 500GB Samsung F3
2x 1TB Western Digital Black

any suggestions welcome.

cheers stulid, I know you talked me out of getting a skt 2011 or z77 + IB not long back. I had the SSD in my pc and didn't really notice any speed increase other than windows loaded a bit quicker. not sure if that because I did something wrong or not.

Add a second GTX560 in SLI (got a good 650w+PSU)?

Edit..ah 2GB version, might be too much over £150.

Mechanical keyboard+G500 mouse?

I only have a GTX560 not GTX560ti, so could add a second, but my psu is a cheapo evolabs 800w modular, so would probs need to upgrade that too. would I notice any real gains (forgot to mention I only game at 1366x768 as TV isn't really 1080p like it claims).

the place I have credit with doesn't sell these :(

At that resolution then you wont see much benefit.

think that's what you told me last time :(

I did think about getting a 3d monitor, but doubt I would use it much and was told they weren't that great.
the 120GB SSD idea (can get a Kingston or intel one from with the credit) seemed like a good idea, but my steam folder wouldn't fit so would I have to keep moving over games when I play them (does this shorten the life as I thought I read the more times you write to the drive the quicker it dies)

game load times will be quicker. main problem with steam is its need for network access.. annoys the hell out of me. all i have on my ssd at the moment is windows, WoW, BF3 and SWTOR. i swap other games to the SSD if im going for long playing sessions tho! (note that the above 3 games are STUPIDLY large 60gb for all 3)
