What to raise memory latency to?

Hi there, currently running 2Gb of XMS2 C5 PC2-6400 at 800MHz with 5-5-5-18 timings, but I'd like to raise my FSB. Upping voltage seems to have made no difference to the ability to POST over 420MHz FSB so want to try slackening the timings. What's the "next one down" in terms of timings? 6-6-6-? Thanks

Yeah, tried upping volts to 2.1V with NB to its max 1.4V with no effect whatsoever. I think I may have hit a wall with my mobo tbh (fsb is only rated to 1333MHz, though advertised as 1600 OC'd), but wanna try other routes if I can.

Yeah dude, that's just CPU-Z giving the rated timings for 2 different memory speeds. They're actually both running at their stock 800 now, seeing as my comp shats the bed eventually on any OC over 400MHz FSB, which is extremely vexing considering my processor is easily capable of much more. Starting to consider upgrading my mobo after only 2 weeks! What with that and all the other errors I've been getting (frequent BSOD, WMP and firefox regularly crashing, etc.) I'm starting to feel I shoulda stuck with xp on my old P4 :P

Yep, it's my board. dropped fsb and raised the dram divider, my memory is now happily running at 860MHz, which is well above the wall I hit at 840. Cheers for all the help guys :)
