What to trade rx8 in for?

Which Celica? A Celica GT is over ten years old and only 170BHP NA 2.0

Celica was a 52 plate 140bhp. Nice enough car but had engine management problems so got shot of it. Traded it for an rx8 with compression issues :0( I'll have another look at s2k's

Ahhh the last of the line pre riced from the factory Toyota hand in hand with max power GT, now I get you. Much prefer the standard T-Sport

The 140BHP model didnt feature Lift and they only burn more oil than usual (burning oil is a feature of the engine) if miss treated

It's a massive shame that the running cost vs the performance of these RX8's make them hard to justify.

Out of interest anyone know what kind of fun things modders are doing with these cars? I would love an RX7 as a weekend toy when/if I get rid of the MR2

tsport was about as quick as an RX8, if you can live with front drive. I liked my 140.....Burning oil was only an issue on the early 99/00/01 models, my 03 was fine....

Unsure how old you are but I insured a 3.0i Z4 for around £1100 whereas a Honda S2000 was just over double that amount for insurance.

I'd go for the DC2/DC5 ITR. Probably the most fun drivers car suggested so far. Would love to own one at some point.

Or do the job properly & get an Elise/Caterham/Westfield etc if you don't need 4 seats
