what to upgrade?

I currency have an i5 3570k and a gtx 960, i am wondering what i should upgrade the cpu or gpu i am looking to get the gtx 1070. or should i get a new cpu first which means i would also need to get a new motherboard and ddr4 ram since i currently got ddr3 ram. what do you guys think i should do?

I think you should get a gtx 1070 that cpu/processor still is capable.

You could overclock the 3570k.

I think the games you play are more CPU based, I may be wrong, However your CPU is more than capable still and will be for a bit to come, Like you say a new CPU means new RAM and Mobo which is mad prices at the mo... Why not go for a 1060 6gb and save some £££

1070 or the 1070Ti would be a good boost for you, and more to come when you update your cpu etc down the line. I don't think a 1060 would be worth the switch. I say go for it

CPU bound games but might be worth hunting down an i7 second hand for the board .
Have to see if Arma 2/3 likes threads over core count
