What to use to clean a CPU?

I have some Akasa cleaning fluid but I'm wondering what sort of cloth to get off the orignal paste. I've got the stock intel heatsink on at the moment but I'm looking to replace it with a Akasa Nero.

Shame its a sunday and the shops are shut. And it would be a bit akward to ask my friends if they have some

Any other idea's? I've heard a dish cloth works.

kitchen roll works fine it's what amd reccomend

any kind of lint free cloth will be fine, anything that wont leave fibres behind basically

my arctic cooling cooler also said wipe clean with clean tissue?

I use a old sock or kitchen roll.

Would a dish cloth fresh from the packet work then?

yep should be fine if its new just dont use the one you cleaned the spag bol pan out with

Right, I cant find any new dish cloths but I do have kitchen roll. Now how do I go about cleaning the CPU?

Dont have tampax or coffee filters but I have found some kitchen roll. How do I apply the stuff now, do I dab it on the CPU itself or do I dab it on the paper first?

I use old socks and then keep the bottles in them after i have used them.
