What TV shows are you currently watching

don't know if i already posted this but quite leisurely working through Schitts Creek (couple of episodes a night 3 times a week usually) and have to say it's brilliant. weird, quirky, uncomfortable sometimes but utterly brilliant.

Wow - does The Americans get massively better after season 1
Tbh, my memory isn't good enough to tell you what happened or how good each season was. It had a solid story, great characters and a great ending. I do remember I loved an episode in S3, really got to me, to be honest. I've only seen it through once, but will do a second time soon.

I would put it in my top 3 shows with Breaking Bad and Justified. Although, if you're not enjoying it at this point, maybe it's just not for you?
No way!? I LOVE BB and Justified (latter being way underrated) . OK I will carry on with it, I just felt the charachters were a bit cliche but I'll carry on

Finished Sherlock (4 seasons and a special, which apparently I should have watched at the end of season 3(?))

It is good, but it's not as good as the IMDb score had me thinking it might be. There are some bits where I think it gets a little lazy. (Just shooting the media mogul... really? And then basically walking free) When you realise how similar Holmes is to Sheldon from TBBT it has rather a weird slant on it too  Maybe unpopular opinion but I thought Elementary was better.

Dark , bit late but just watched season 1 .
Got a bit lost with the 3 timelines and who was related to who but really enjoyed it , just hope season 2 is just as good.

Stick with it, it's really great. It also has one of the most satisfying endings to a TV series that I've ever seen.

Dark is great but it is insanely confusing. I basically had to have a family tree up on the other screen to keep a track of all the characters and relationships

I remember getting episode 6 of season one and then being hooked. IMO it only got confusing later because of the massive gap between the season. If someone new to it were watching now, it would be much easier to follow.

Added to that, if you can speak some German and are more familiar with German names, it would be much easier to follow too.

Quite happy it was a Netflix show as it should mean there isn't ever a US-based remake like they tried and failed twice with Les revenants once that drew some acclaim.

Recommended very strongly by my friend's son, I'll be checking out Breaking Bad tonight.

I've seen the first episode (maybe two) what seems like an age ago, so I'll start properly from the beginning.

This gonna be good - "Twin Peaks" on Paramount+. Haven't seen this since it was originally shown on BBC2 last century.

EDIT: The next morning - I even went and got myself a cherry pie from Sainsbury's. :D

Started House Of The Dragon last night.
Same. I enjoyed it, but I think it misses not jumping back and forth between the different families. I didn't think till after, but that was one thing that made the early GoT so epic to me.

Also watching That Dirty Black Bag as I do enjoy western-type shows. Is quite good, still got a few eps to go.

Also enjoying the new season of Resident Alien.

Industry has started back up too. It's a little like Billions I guess, half the time I have no idea what they're talking about or what's actually going on.
