What TV shows are you currently watching

Tried watching 1899 last night, but I'm not sure whether it worked for me, maybe I was too tired to appreciate it.

I might check it out again this evening.

Starting The Murder That Changed Britain.

It is mainly about Colin Stagg who was wrongly charged with the murder of Rachel Nickell.

It was 17 years before the police admitted they had the wrong guy in prison.
Didn't know there was a documentary.

I recently watched a series on Netflix called Deceit which is the dramatisation of these events - 4 parter and tightly written, worth a watch.

It was on CBS crime Channel so you can probably watch it.

They interviewed Paul Britton who still works with the police and got him and Colin Stagg to meet for the first time.

It was really interesting.

They mentioned that Deceit and they both agreed that the portrayal was seedy of Paul Britton and incredibly misleading.

If you can find the documentaty I do recommend watching it so you can see how upset they were at such inaccurate details.

Paul was particularly insulted by it and said that he wouldn't let the version of him in the drama look after a hamster!

Just finished the Walking Dead yesterday. S11 E24. They killed off my favourite character. Not that I'm upset, the show died around S7-8 when most people dropped it. Just glad this albatross is gone from around my neck.

Might check out HotD, but let's see if it craps the bed in its 2nd season like the Witcher did.

Pretty much caught up with Let the Right One In. Loved the original film and the remake wasn't half bad and the series isn't too bad so far taking the main bits of the story and expanding it out can see it going for a few seasons and dying a death as they rinse and repeat things though.

Tried to watch Sandman - horrible

Started White Lotus Season 2 - only first episode, but can already tell it wont be as good as the first season. Murray Bartlett's modern take on Basil Fawlty in the first season was genius, and already there isnt a character to replace him.

Started Last Man on Earth last night. Short episodes, blasted through the first 3 to give it the benefit of the doubt. Wont be continuing, didn't like it at all.

Man, The Capture is CAPTIVATING. Holy **** it's pulled me right in, tense and nail biting stuff. Amazing show well done BBC. Recommended to all! Great cast, acting, story and well put together. Really scary how deepfake is becoming more and more real and more of a problem.
