Rewatched Breaking Bad for the… 4th time?

Series 5 (the final one) is easily the best as it gets back to being ‘fun’ in the early season before adding in the drama in spades. Series 3 and 4 are a little hard work at times when Walt and Jesse are at loggerheads.

It’s great, but I think I’m leaning towards Game of Thrones now being my favourite series.

Oh and this was the first time I watch it when I thought, wow, Walter really is a total ********. I’m normally firmly on team Walt :o :p

GOT deservers to be burnt with fire after what they did to the final season. ill never watch it again.

Justified is the best show out there.

The ending was fine IMO, other than Bran’s dialogue and/or acting - he just started to make me laugh :o :p

Haven’t watched Justified, will check it out.

I enjoyed breaking bad but it really was a 'one and done' for me. I never felt compelled to go back and rewatch it. Sure, every now and then I'll watch a few clips of my favourite scenes on YouTube but I've no desire to sit throgh it all over again.

Despite that. I have it firmly in my ever changing 'top' show list. My top 3 are so good, to me, that I often rank them alone but Breaking Bad probably sneaks into my top 5.

In Breaking Bad's defence. I rarely revisit a series over and over.

I've watched The Wire 4 or 5 times. Sopranos 3 times, Band of Brothers 2 or 3 times and True Detective S1 a handful of times. Most other things are once and done. Not including episodic things like South Park or sitcoms.

Did try and get my partner through 24 but she just wasn't complying, damn it.

Same here. I watched GoT a second time and it was so much better as I understood more of who was who and what was going on. Then, I watched BB a second time and realised one of the reasons it was so good was the suspense, which is gone when you know what's going to happen.

Yes - on rewatching Breaking Bad there is a lot of ‘waiting for the good bits’. The slower moments are also less exciting when you know the outcome. Still, it’s my most rewatched show.

I can't do it I don't know how people rewatch whole series I know what's gonna happen ? The surprise element has gone

But don't mind rewatching something like only fools and horses over Christmas or any old time classics probably because they don't make them like that today

As yet I can't recall rewatching any multi series story back through a second time. However, there are a few classics that I might start again from the beginning one day as it's been many years since I watched them, for example The Sopranos and Band of Brothers.

Outer Range

Stubbornness made me watch all 8 episodes hoping there was some eureka moment that made me cheer that the plot made sense.

err. no.

Seemed too clever for its own good, raised loads of questions (on its weirdness) that never went answered (or flew over my head). 7 hours of my life that I won't get back.

You better still think Skyler is a **** though! I hate her so much, literally dred every time she's there finding something new to moan about. Amazing actress but jesus I hate her haha.

Dexter is definitely up there with 1 of the best IMHO, think I've watched it like 6 times through? Not including the bonus new mini series we got, which was still very good, but I'm conflicted to wether it should exist, but like both the original series + the addition of the mini last series.

Sons was awesome, but can't rewatch it due to the first 3 seasons just being constant Tara being a smackhead and I hate needles/seeing that ****. It really shows the acting talent come season 4 onwards and is very funny, I found the first 2 seasons good but very samey, when he has to get his son back it gets way better though onwards.

Sopranos is probably THE don though. I mean I don't even need to say anything about this do I!

Watched Power Book IV: Force, season 2, Joseph Sikora is such a beast! This really flowed so well, felt as good as the original Power to me.

I thought Dexter was incredible up until the whole story around him and his sister. I felt like it could've ended a season or two earlier. The difference in quality between the final season of Dexter and Breaking Bad was very evident though as they came out around the same time.

I actually forgot Sons of Anarchy even existed! Decent show that had more highs than lows for most of it.

For me my certified top 3 are The Wire, The Sopranos and Band of Brothers. The amount of distance between those and my other favourite shows is huge. I love getting an opportunity or excuse to sit through them again especially if it's with someone who hasn't seen them before.

Caught up to For All Mankind last night. Really enjoying this series and this season has been good as well. Just a shame that I'm now up to date and can't smash out a few episodes each night.

The Lazarus Project - Series 1 & 2. 10/10

Ahh that was amazing. It's been a while a since I found a tv series worth binge watching, finished both series over the last couple of days. Loved every episode. It's quite refreshing to have a tv series that doesn't have any boring filler scenes / episodes. A must watch.

I think dexter ended right, I can take it or leave the bonus season we got, I like it but don't feel offended.

I really want to watch the wire but I hate smackheads/needles/had very bad experiences/reactions with various jabs/blood tests as a kid.
I tried watching it and yeah blurghhh with zero warning, and stuff like that sticks in my mind/flashbacks of it, I genuinely must have a proper fear/condition, as I'll literally have nightmares of things I've seen like that, mad I know lol. Someone make me a nice censored version of all the rank bits haha!

I cant get my head around BB being talked about in the same breath as GOT Season 8 especially being better than BB.

GOT was such an amazing series which was ruined by the finale. BB was consistently amazing from the start.

I didn’t say GoT Season 8 was ‘better than Breaking Bad’. I said GoT was probably my favourite series (edging out over Breaking Bad).
