What TV shows are you currently watching

Started that boat drama on BBC1 last night. It's certainly different and very dark and funny at times. Quite surprised BBC1 were okay with something so bloody and graphic! Lol!

I'm currently wondering though how they knew the shipment was cocaine? And why not heroin?

Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing how it all pans out and am definitely enjoying it much more than Vienna Blood.

I really enjoyed it, maybe the best short series of 2023 for me, the am-dram cut aways are hilarious.

I've now got the other Williams brothers shows on my watchlist, The Missing, Baptiste and The Tourist

That'll be why I recognised the French actor then!

I hadn't realised they had written all those drama series.

The missing and baptiste were both really enjoyable so I'm sure you will like them too.

I was thinking of perhaps watching the tourist after this but I'll now definitely watch it!
 
Blue eye samurai.

Really enjoyed 1-5.

Just watched 6 and I found it a real let down.

I liked the exaggerated but real character. And the back story and depth.

E6... Without giving spoilers... Was ridiculous. Like watching a different show.

While I enjoyed it, I agree that a couple of the episodes were very odd. My rating of this would be 7/10 as a whole

6 went into super hero territory and I thought the best bit of the show was this wasn't the case.
Worst bit was... It absolutely didn't have to do this and would have lost nothing.


I thought it was gonna be an 8-9 but I agree it may end up as a 7.

One piece was better. As this was in with a shout of taking my favourite of 2023 title. But it won't now.
 
I've just finished watching ' The Brothers Sun' on Netflix and thoroughly enjoyed it! It's got just the right amount of gore and silliness with decent acting and a good story! I hope they do a season 2.
 
Our House - an ITV drama where an estranged wife turns up to her home to find a married couple moving in and so sign of her husband to explain what's going on. Enjoyed it but definitely some silly decision making to forward the story.
 
Finished Better Call Saul last night.

Loved it but admit to taking a break for a couple of years between series 4 and 5 but wow the last two series were excellent. It's all good man!
 
After The Flood – After four episodes it has been disappointing, plodding along with a leaking storyline that is not too convincing. A mix of crime drama and soap that is nowhere as good as Happy Valley. Hoping that we get something positive from the last two episodes.

Would have been 9/10 except episode 6 was terrible in that it totally didn't fit in to the story.

Great show apart from that one episode
