What TV shows are you currently watching

Finished the Young Ones today, both series. Loved it when I was a kid, rewatched them as a teen in the 90s and loved it again. Not as great this time round although still chuckled most of the way through even though I knew when the jokes were coming. Bambi being the absolute stand out.
Had never realised how much Rik Mayall carries the whole thing though. Wrote it too, in his early twenties. Feel like I want to change my forum name to the peoples poet. RIP to the genius.

Crop rotation in the 14th century was considerably more widespread after John.

Had to skip all the Alexei Sayle bits, don't find him funny at all.

Dark ,watched all 3 seasons , had not got a clue what was happening half the time .
The first 2 season where in German with subs but for some reason season 3 defaulted to English translation which i kept on as it was well done and since German-English share a lot in common the lip syncing was spot on.
Season 3 explained everything nicely , going to watch the first 2 seasons again now that i know whats happening and pretty sure it will be just as entertaining.
Wouldnt be suprised if this is butchered in an American remake.
Ploughing through occupied now another great series , can understand why the ruskies where not happy about it when it first aired as they probaly thought someone had got a hold of there Ukraine invasion plans.

@Subzero85 I have been debating whether to try Twin Peaks as well. I remember the hype at the time, and it intrigues me.

Better Call Saul, which was excellent, quality remained consistent throughout. Memorable and likeable characters. I had watched up to the final series but forgot the plot when the final season came out in '21, so I rewatched from the start! I have been debating to re-watch Breaking Bad but I'm taking a break for now.

Justified, onto Season 3 and it's brilliant. I remember it being aired at the time (can't believe it was 13 years ago) but missed, so glad to be watching it as it's one of the best series I've seen.

A rewatch of Black Sails, watched S1-3 back in the day but never got to watch the final season 4, so rewatching the series from scratch!

The Devil's Confession: The Lost Eichmann Tapes.

Fascinating.

What an appalling specimen of a human though. :(

Am particularly intrigued by who owns them.

Although I can appreciate we won't ever know because of what it would reveal was the deal between Germany and Israel.

Anyone here rate twin peaks ? old early 90s show, like a crime/drama series ?

I can recommend Twin Peaks. Writing quality dropped off a cliff a few eps into S2 due to TV execs meddling and David Lynch walked away, but back on form for S3. Some S2 eps can be skipped. There is a reddit watch/miss list I've seen (after I watched em all).

Andor was excellent, looking forward to S2 one day.

Miss Marple.. ITV version.. I finished all of Poirot and never saw the ITV series of Marlpe when it came out. Some ridiculous famous casts. Am up to series 3 so far with Gerladine McEwan as Miss parple. Julia McKenzie takes over from series 4.

Its been pretty good so far.
