the original show was one of my favs . the new one was a bit lame tbh.

Surprised it doesn't have it's own thread but Beast Games on Prime has been really good. Watched all the eps back to back, absolutely hooked. Final on Thursday.
 
Finished Day of the Jackal at the weekend. Thought it was good overall although did get a bit too James Bond-y towards the end. Will watch S2 though.
Been watching Apple Cider Vinegar with the wife, was a big story here at the time and everyone had her app. Its pretty good. Watching The Madness on my own, started well but petering out a bit. Will stick it out.

We are 3 episodes into S1 of Severance and really enjoying it. Very strange, but compelling viewing.

Hope it doesn't go all Lost with more questions than answers...

Watching this as well, has been some pretty moronic decisions made. (last one in particular)

6 have made it to the final and they have the chance to double the prize pot to 10 million dollars.
All you have to do is toss a coin, but if you lose you are out. This is optional and does not have to be done.
If no one goes for it the pot remains at 5 million and all players are still in the final.
Someone has gone for it. :rolleyes:
 
Saw a review of Am I Being Unreasonable? and thought I'd give it a go on iPlayer. To call it a comedy is akin to The Bear being a comedy, mind. With all the attention Baby Reindeer got I'm surprised this didn't as it came first. The first series is pretty compelling and completely threw me lots of times. Onto S2.

Oh yea that's why I like it, it's entertaining watching a bunch of idiots do dumb stuff to get eliminated and then cry about it :D.

That most stupid one was
The 3 captains all turning down $1M just to save their team. How crazy, you're there to win money, get offered a life changing amount, and you turn it down just to most probably get eliminated and go home with nothing but a new 'friend' you made? Yea ok.

And also
The final game to win the island... The guy was an unbelievable idiot, made it so obvious what case he put the paper in, just by the sound it made when putting it down, and didn't even bother to move them around or anything. Basically gifted her the island
 
Paradise - episode 5. Absolutely amazing. Show deserves it's own thread, but as there's only 3 episodes left it's not worth it.

It's been a while since I saw a show where the pacing is spot-on, like this, and their use of flashbacks is done perfectly.

Literally never heard anything about it, but got one of those push notifications on my phone annoucing it's release on the Disney+ app. It has Sterling K Brown and James Marsden in it so it piqued my curiosity. Didn't even bother watching a trailer. 3 episodes available now and then 1 new one every week. Just based on the 1st episode it's really, really intriguing. I would describe it as a political, mystery thriller.

Wikipedia says: "The series involves a Secret Service Agent assigned to the protection detail of former President."

Just started it tonight based on the recommendadtions here - haven't seen it advertised heavily or people talking about it.

Like i say, i started it tonight and burned through 3 episodes! I need to slow down!
