Finished The Wire 3 nights ago and I thought it was very good.
I personally found the main character Jimmy to be super annoying and it did feel frustrating at times to watch.

I'm now nearing the end of the first series of The Sopranos and for me, it is far superior than The Wire and I'm absolutely loving everything about it!
Even the introductory music has me sofa dancing! Lol!
I think it could very possibly beat Breaking Bad or at least be an equal number one to it, in terms of it being one of the best things I've ever watched.
I really hope it continues and I'm not left disappointed coz that would be gutting.

For me I have The Wire ever so slightly ahead of The Sopranos, like a 1A and 1B kind of situation. My advice would be to enjoy the series and never bother with the film.
Though I feel offended that you'd even group those two masterpieces with Breaking Bad. BB was great but I feel it's overrated. The Wire, The Sopranos and Band of Brothers are all top tier TV with everything quite far behind, in my opinion. I may add Chernobyl onto that list but it was only 6 episodes.
Started Tulsa King. 4 Episodes into it so far and it feels like it can be summed up as 'Sly punches person in a new scenario and then cracks a joke' but I'm really enjoying it.

Would definitely recommend it, there’s a few familiar faces from The Sopranos too which is a bonus

Richard’s a great character
I've just watched Silo S1 & 2 over a couple of weeks.
S2 is definetely a better watch imho.
Hopefully S3 & 4 will continue in the same vein.
Enjoyed this too.
I want to watch this but flying to Lanzarote in a fortnight and cant get mrsholdi to agree for obvious reasons
Will look forward to watching S3 when we get back.

Band of brothers is definitely next on my list!
I'm half way through the second series of The Sopranos and have to say I'm not enjoying it quite as much.
The first really was sensational for me so perhaps have had too high expectations.
The music choices throughout are sublime even though I'm feeling slightly disappointed with the second.

I get bored with a TV series or film in the first 20 minutes and then don't bother with any more but just started one called Prime Target and I'm in after 20 minutes.
