What TV shows are you currently watching

Finished season 2 of Tulsa King. Felt like a B-grade Godfather/Sopranos cliche even down to some of the plots/lines of dialogue used.

I really enjoyed it for what it is though. Even if I have a hard time imagining a geriatric coming out of prison and running things right away.

Just finished Cross on Amazon Prime.

It was ok, probably could've done with being two episodes shorter. Definitely some filler in a couple of episodes and no need for the last 15-20 minutes of the final episode.

The mid episode adverts in some episodes were obnoxious to say the least, especially one within ten minutes of the end of the final episode. This is after a three previous breaks. Puts me.off watching anything on Prime.

I've not watched much on Prime, but a couple of shows on Netflix. Quite often on an old show, even though it has markers for 3 ads, there have been none, but in the 9th or 10th ep of Night Manager it cut to one ad in the middle of someone's lines!

Watched the new documentary about Tom Green on prime last night, always loved his idiotic comedy and MTV shows back in the day and a good throwback

I wonder if someone can help, I've done a Google search but can't find what I'm after.

I've just watched the 2023 series called The Castaways and to be honest I haven't got a clue what's gone on.
I'm not good at concentrating so missed a lot.
So I know a woman got on a plane called Lori, it crashes and her sister goes looking for her but it then seems as though there are loads of stories going on and underhand dealings but I haven't got a clue.
I'm after a page where someone has perhaps wrote a full synopsis on it.

Thanks

Not quite sure, but this page seems to have loads of info:

Finished season 2 of Silo last night, it got seriously good too but now the long wait for season 3 & 4, which they are filming back to back.

Made it through episode 1 of Black Doves. Having just watched The Agency, some of this is laughable in comparison but it's only 6 episodes.

Keira Knightley hiding as two assassins stalk her and her daughter video calls her about bedtime AT AN INOPPORTUNE MOMENT! Really??? That's the best you could come up with about the duality of being an undercover spy and a mum?

Started watching 1883 yesterday (apparently a prequel to Yellowstone that I've not seen). I am halfway in but feel like I am watching Red Dead Redemption 2 as there are so many similarities. Episode 2 had them make camp at a small area by a stream that might as well have been the camp from Chapter 3 of the game. I am really enjoying the show so it is a shame there is just one season of it.

Finished the 3rd season of the Sopranos last night and then 6 episodes of season 4.

Loved seeing Omar and to recognise the guy who played the bad guy in the saw movies and also think I recognised one of the policemen as the security guard or something like that from Die Hard.

It was funny realising that the "snake" woman (if you have seen it you will know who I'm talking about) has a borderline personality disorder like me! Lol!

Season 3 is already shaping up to be even more exciting but I now have to watch the 6 nations!

Finished up the last few eps of The Silo S2 in a binge last night. Absolutely cracking show. Getting tempted by Severance before my current 3 month trial runs out. Having a break from Gundam after watching Char's Counter Attack, C.D's Island and Unicorn.

If you enjoy spotting actors before they were famous, check out Oz, I swear no other show has kick started as many acting careers as Oz, i'll die on that hill.

Along with The Wire & Band of Brothers, one of my three favourite HBO shows.

Also, Oz created the foundation of the mountain that Sopranos scaled for the anti-hero theme.
