what type of racing game do you like?

Nowadays I'm into the semi Sim - GT or Forza.

Used to play a lot of PC Sims a few years back but never could get the motivation to put a huge amount of time into NASCAR, GP Legends, GTR etc long term.
 
not sure that anything from the NFS lineup has every been semi sim, more arcade imo.

Its all about GT & Forza in my eyes, a good mix of sim and arcade (depending on your settings)

I am still yet you try a decent wheel for my 360, that might be my next purchase.
 
Forza seems to be right down the middle for me. It's got the best handling of any serious racer I've played. GT is too bland and sterile for me.
 
Used to love GT2 on the playstation, then fell in love with PGR3 as my first 360 game at launch but since then my entire outlook on racing games has been ruined :(

Ever since I started playing Burnout 3 and 4 I just don't have any interest or patience for any other racing game any more, which is a shame because Forza looked pretty awesome! I find a lot of them feel too serious for me where as I just want a "turn your brain off and plant your fingers on accelerate/boost" racing game. However I did find trackmania hugely addictive and mario kart simply because its mario kart lol nuff said! possibly the 2 exceptions to this rule

Wish they'd release another "proper" burnout game

Suprisingly didn't get on with
Race Pro - framerate killed this game
NFS Shfit - 'Visceral' visual effects killed it for me
GT5p - Only because it's a limited demo

I would say that in general, 'faff and tat' visual excitement placed over the actual 'racing' is not what gels with me
