What type of salt do you use for boiling pasta?

It's cheaper.....Where does kosher salt play into this?

I salt my pasta water with Bad Ischler salt from the Austrian Alps.

I don't go to the Alps to get it meself like, they sell it in the supermarket. 79 cents for half a kilo.
