What type of threshold?

Struggling to suss out the most suitable type of threshold to use for where my laminate meets the edge of the floor at my front door.

Not sure if you can make out the pictures but i've extended the laminate out under the door and over the edge of the step but i'm not sure what type of threshold to use. My friend who is a joiner said i'd need a bullnose threshold but I can only find a couple of places online that sell them so i'm just wondering if there is something else i'd be better off using as not sure I fancy paying £30-£40 for one if there is a cheaper alternative!

I would use a piece of the laminate stick it on the edge vertically then use an angled door threshold to hide the join?
Is the edge of the laminate flush with the start of the carpet?
How bigs the drop?
 
Its the front door. Get it done right and buy a bull nose as your friend says... £30 is nothing when you think of the location of where it is and the typr of heavy traffic going over it.
 
Have a word with plastic window fitters - they might have a off cut of 4x4 plastic angle - cheapest way I think. :D:D

Don't spoil whole job for tuppence. :rolleyes:

Either of those look fine to me. I'd get the stainless one though - it's not as if you have to fit out the whole house and... "buy cheap buy twice"
